What happens if a trip goes wrong

What BDcabs can do

1. Dispute review.When a partner marks a booking complete, you’re prompted to confirm or dispute it. If you dispute, our team reviews; the outcome (Completed or Cancelled) is recorded permanently on the booking and on the partner’s record.
2. Account removal.A partner with a pattern of disputes, no-shows, or claiming documents they don’t hold can be removed from BDcabs, and the record kept.
3. Auto-hide on repeated reports. A booking request or profile that accumulates multiple user reports is hidden pending review.
4. Audit trail. Every message in the chat, every offer, every dispute outcome is preserved. If you need a copy for a consumer complaint or a court case, request a data export from your account page — usually delivered within 30 days.

What BDcabs can’t do

• We can’t refund you, because we never hold the money. The fare flows directly from you to the driver — BDcabs is never in the payment loop.
• Our verification is document sighting, nothing more. Our team sights a partner’s documents — driving licence, vehicle registration, fitness certificate — before they can take bookings. That is not an insurance policy, a fare guarantee, or a background check. If anything else matters to you, ask the partner about it before you travel.

Outside BDcabs

• For consumer complaints, the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) is Bangladesh’s consumer-protection authority and accepts complaints about services.
• For anything criminal — theft, threats, or a safety incident — contact your local police station first, and tell us via the contact form so we can act on the account.
